CLARA has been awarded 'Best in Digital Health,' received the inaugural Nurse Approved seal, and been featured by the American Nurses Association. We have a mission driven team with bedside to executive domain experience coupled with the technical and business talent to deliver. With a currently untapped market, CLARA is thrilled to connect and learn more about your unique interests and how we can make an impact together!
After completing a thorough business analysis and technical feasibility assessment, I founded CLARA in September 2022. By December 2023, CLARA raised funding to support intellectual property acquisition, hardware testing, and software development. We have since launched an active pilot at the University of Washington, focusing first on overlaying our product within the operating room—our initial target for our land and expand strategy. CLARA was also recognized with the “Best in Digital Health” award at the Hollomon Health Business Competition and holds the distinguished “Nurse Approved – Tested and Trusted” seal, reinforcing our credibility in clinical settings.
Our partnerships are integral to CLARA’s growth. Key collaborators span workspace, hardware and software development, legal counsel, and pilot implementation partners, giving us a solid foundation for scaling. With a robust team and advisors experienced in healthcare and business, we are prepared to meet our next major milestones: securing seed funding and finalizing our first commercial client.
Additionally, we are dedicated to integrating CLARA into nursing workflows, continuing to socialize and test our platform for broad clinical acceptance. Winning this award would provide critical financial support for our equity-driven team and validate our commitment to revolutionizing patient care, proving that an ambitious, nurse-led team can make an impactful difference in healthcare.
CLARA’s success is thus defined by its measurable impact on emergency response times, navigation satisfaction, and operational efficiency, confirming it as a robust, indispensable platform for advancing hospital safety and performance.
At our pilot site, CLARA’s success is measured by location accuracy for critical equipment and team members, latency in response times, and reliability, benchmarking these factors against other real-time location systems (RTLS).
After commercial release, we will evaluate CLARA’s impact across three core areas:
